JENNIFER S. BOXBERGER
Investment Analyst

Jennifer Boxberger has 7 years of experience in investment analysis, and 2 years of experience in defined contribution and defined benefit administration. As an Investment Analyst for Cottonwood Advisors, LLC, she assists in the preparation of quarterly performance reports, conducts manager searches for managers of separate accounts, commingled funds and mutual funds and monitors investment performance.

Before joining Cottonwood Advisors, LLC, Jennifer was an investment consultant with Palmer & Cay (Cottonwood’s predecessor). Prior to Palmer & Cay, Jennifer worked for JPMorgan Retirement Plan Services. While at JP Morgan, she was an Investment Analyst, analyzing the funds on the JP Morgan Retirement Plan Services platform. Previously, Jennifer was employed by FBD Consulting, where she administered retirement plans.

Jennifer received her Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Texas and a Dual Masters in Finance and Human Resources Development from Webster University. Jennifer has previously held NASD Series 7 and 63 licenses and is a candidate in the CIPM Program.

BARBARA A. HOFSTETTER
Analyst, Employee Benefits

Barbara Hofstetter has 12 years of experience in actuarial and administrative support. She specializes in account recordkeeping for defined contribution plans and actuarial support for defined benefit plans.

Before joining The Cottonwood Group, Barbara was an analyst with DeFrain Mayer, Cottonwood’s predecessor. Prior to joining DeFrain Mayer in 1997, she worked for two years with Tax Favored Benefits, Inc. as a Benefits Administrator.

Barbara earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Kansas and has studied under the Certified Employee Benefit Specialist program of the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans.

DEB MEEHAN
Retirement Analyst

Deb Meehan has been involved in the design and administration of corporate defined benefit plans for over 20 years. She joined Palmer & Cay, Cottonwood’s predecessor, in 2004. She has also served as a consultant and analyst for other employee benefit consulting firms and has also administered defined benefit plans within the human resources departments of corporate plan sponsors.

Deb has a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Iowa State University and has earned the Certified Employee Benefits Specialist designation.

DEBORAH M. MESSER
Retirement Analyst

Deborah Messer has 21 years of experience in actuarial and administrative support. She specializes in actuarial support for defined benefit plans.

Before joining The Cottonwood Group, LLC, Debbie was an actuarial assistant with DeFrain Mayer, Cottonwood’s predecessor. Prior to joining DeFrain Mayer in 1998, she worked for six years with Mayer Hoffman McCann, and was a pension administrator for Compensation Programs, Inc. and Alexander & Alexander.

Deborah earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Truman State University. She has also studied for pension administration exams under the American Society of Pension Actuaries.

VICKI A. ROZMAN
Retirement Analyst

Vicki Rozman has 24 years of experience in employee benefits. Her primary concentration is defined benefit plan administration, including benefit calculations and data maintenance.

Before joining The Cottonwood Group, Vicki was an analyst with DeFrain Mayer, Cottonwood’s predecessor. Prior to joining DeFrain Mayer in 1987, she worked for TPF&C/Tillinghast and was a plan administrator with Hansen & Dickerson.

Vicki graduated from the Minnesota School of Business, has completed several undergraduate business administration courses, and has taken American Society of Pension Actuaries courses.
