ELIZABETH S. KAUTZ
Consultant, Employee Benefits

Elizabeth Kautz has 25 years of experience in actuarial and administrative support. She specializes in account recordkeeping for defined contribution plans and actuarial support and administration for defined benefit plans.

Before joining The Cottonwood Group, LLC, Beth was a consultant with DeFrain Mayer, predecessor to The Cottonwood Group. Prior to joining DeFrain Mayer in 1986, she worked for five years with TPF&C/Tillinghast, and was a cost and budget analyst with Bendix Corporation.

Beth earned a Bachelor of Business Administration and Accounting degree from Kansas State University and has studied under the Certified Employee Benefit Specialist program of the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans.


PAMELA M. REEDER, QKA, QPA
Retirement Consultant

Pam Reeder has over 15 years of experience in the retirement industry. She has obtained the designation of Qualified 401k Administrator and Qualified Pension Administrator from the American Society of Pension Professionals & Actuaries.

Prior to joining The Cottonwood Group, LLC, Pam worked for JPMorgan Retirement Plan Services. Her work experience also include 10 years with William M. Mercer, Incorporated as an actuarial analyst. She has experience in the design and administration of qualified and non-qualified retirement plans as well as defined contribution plans. Pam is a graduate of University of Nebraska at Lincoln with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Actuarial Science.


AMBER H. RINDOM
Retirement Consultant

Amber Rindom has 10 years of experience in actuarial and retirement administration support. She specializes in the design and development of “expanded administration” services for defined benefit clients of The Cottonwood Group.

Before joining The Cottonwood Group, Amber was an analyst with DeFrain Mayer, Cottonwood’s predecessor. Prior to joining DeFrain Mayer in 1999, Amber worked for 3 years at Valley State Bank as Compliance Administrator and Internal Auditor.

Amber earned her Bachelor of Business Administration and Executive Master’s of Business Administration degrees from Benedictine College. She has also studied through the American Society of Pension Actuaries courses in the Qualified Plan Administrator program.
