What's In A Name

When we formed our new company,
we looked for a name that summed up our core values. Our Midwestern roots. Our years of experience offering businesses an adaptable, protective and resilient approach to managing their retirement plans.
The Cottonwood tree majestically symbolizes these beliefs.
The Cottonwood is indigenous to the harsh climate of the Midwest…in fact it was designated as the Kansas state tree in 1937. But even before then, pioneers felt safe whenever they spotted a hardy Cottonwood on the horizon. They knew shade, shelter and water were near by.
Cottonwoods also show an amazing ability to compound in size…from an ultra-light seed
measured by millimeters into one of the largest trees in North America, up to 100 feet high.
